Description
The October Iris Caddis draws on Craig Mathews' emerger pattern to suggest October caddis pupae reaching the surface. Try it during the hatch when trout are feeding on emerging insects rather than adults. Start with a natural drift along riffle edges and current seams, testing a gentle lift when fish respond to movement. Sold by the dozen for fly shop fall caddis selections and guide boxes.
